Shirdi Temple Darshan Timings Explained for Your Convenience

More than fifteen thousand pilgrims reach Sai Temple daily. In the holiday season, their number goes up further. To streamline the things, the temple management has displayed shirdi temple darshan timings on their website. These timings remain the same throughout the year.  

The temple is closed at around 11:00 PM and reopens the next morning at 4:15 AM. Although Kakad Aarti starts at 4:30AM, but followers begin to make queues outside the temple from 2:00AM onwards. Many of them do not even sleep the whole night. After holy bath and other rituals, pilgrims are allowed Darshan from 6:00 AM onwards. There is a separate entry for senior citizens but one must first get a pass from the office of the temple management to avail this facility.

For the convenience of people coming from far off places, there are ample arrangements of civil facilities like safe drinking water, washrooms etc. in the temple premises. After Aarti, “Ladoos” are distributed to devotees as “Prasad.” Those who wish to take more sweets for distributing as Prasad among their friends, can buy them at subsidized rates from the sweets shop located inside the temple itself. To keep Mandir premises neat and clean, devotees are not allowed to carry eatables inside the temple. Those desirous of having food can visit “Bhojnalaya” which is walking distance from the temple.

Ample security arrangements are made by the administration to avoid any untoward incident in the temple. Only a fixed number of Pilgrims are allowed to enter inside the Temple, at a time and when Satyanarayan Pooja is going on, devotees are asked to sit in the hall and wait until the ceremony is over.

It is highly recommended that those coming for the first time to the temple must plan their travel according to the shirdi temple darshan timings. In this way, one can also visit other nearby places in the same visit.
